My Yoga journey began with a Divine Soul, Hiteshji.
A radiant soul of grounded, kind and warm energy, Hiteshji is the embodiment of Divine Source Light bringing Vitality, Health, Healing & Wisdom to Humanity.
I was in a stage of life where I was feeling a bit stuck and unsure of how to implement a physical strengthening practice. Where should I begin? Can I do Yoga? Will I be able to perform the asanas? Will I be able to cope up with the pace? Can older people like me start? Unending questions, confusion and reasons why I shouldn’t enroll flooded my mind. I pushed all doubts aside as I remembered that the 30-Day Sadhna by Hiteshji ‘showed up’ as an answer to my prayers. “Mahadev help me. I don’t know where to begin.” Thus began a new journey.
Each day was a new discovery into my own self. Some days, the mind and body were in sync and there were days when nothing was in sync with and inner battle. It was Hiteshji’s constant reminder of the niyama of ‘ahimsa’ to the self that served as a balm. “Be kind to yourself. Listen to your body.” Allow the body time and space to go through ‘tapas’. One of the greatest highlights of the 30-Day Sadhna was the ‘wholeness’ it encompassed. Prayer, Gratitude, Philosophy, Asana, Pranayama, Dhyan, Chanting and Reflection created a strong foundation for each one of us to learn, discover and strengthen ourselves.
Hiteshji’s encouraging words instilled faith and hope in our own self. He motivated us to push ourselves during the practices when we felt like giving up, ‘holding our hands’ guiding us to strengthen our mind and our body. The entire time of the program I felt I was in a safe environment under the guidance of a teacher who is very patient, nurturing and attentive. Hiteshji brings high vibrational knowledge and wisdom in a very practical form making it easy for each person to integrate it in their lives. He brought deep insights, valuable lessons, golden nuggets of wisdom that would strike a chord in the heart inspiring us to create positive shifts in our own lives.
I was a bit insecure about turning on the camera and not being able to move my body through the asanas with grace during our practice sessions. This was one of my biggest blocks. Starting a yoga practice much later in life. I was surprised at the ease I felt in my own body. The environment that Hiteshji had created was very safe and uplifting. I felt stronger day by day. With strength in the physical there was strength in the mind. There was fire and ignition. Each day I felt my body and mind transforming. I began transcending my own physical limitations as I began to see the changes. Each change and shift led to greater sense of self and confidence. What I loved about the course was that it catered to people from all walks of life and all levels of body strength. A lot of modifications for the beginners were included.
Success was bound to happen. Yes, I say that now with confidence. How?
It is important to me that I show up diligently and regularly and maintain discipline. But life happens and we get caught up in our responsibilities and duties towards others and carving out time for our self, for our own practice can present challenges. Hitesh ji continuous presence, motivation, and dedication proved to be a very big source for me to fight these challenges and stay dedicated and determined to be present for each practice.
“I must show up for my own growth when my teacher is showing up for my growth.”
It was his consistency, dedication, and discipline that kept me on my path even when there were days that the path was full of obstacles. Showing up for myself and seeing the daily progress led to deeply fulfilling rewards both at the physical tangible levels as well as subtle energetic levels. Thereby creating this pathway of ‘success’. Hiteshji’s Yoga Shala, a community was one of the keys to my personal journey. In hearing others’ stories, shares, asana journey, there was a sense of belongingness.
I am deeply grateful to this divine soul for showing up in my life bringing light and strength. Hiteshji’s deep connection to the divine feminine energy brings in empowerment, strength, and balance helping us in harmonizing our masculine and feminine energy. Hiteshji is a Golden Gift to the world.
As I revisit the questions that emerged before the 30-day sadhna, my heart is full and deeply grateful.
Where should I begin? With Hiteshji’s 30-day Sadhna
Can I do Yoga? YES!
Will I be able to perform the asanas? Maybe not all at once, but it is a wonderful start
Will I be able to cope up with the pace? Yes!
Can older people like me start? The Golden Time is NOW. It is Now.
May your journey bring in tremendous healing, vitality, and abundance.
Thank you.
Blessings of Love & Abundance.
Namah Shivaya.
